Valley View Pilates
Valley View Pilates is a friendly little Pilates studio in the midst of Titirangi offering private and small group sessions using matwork, small equipment, Pilates apparatus, and of course mindfulness and breath for gentle but effective exercise.
Pilates is a movement system that incorporates a whole-body holistic approach to exercise, it’s not just about using those abs or the core but is instead about lengthening, strengthening and seeking to find balance within the musculoskeletal system. Flowing movement with breath, concentration, precision and an open mind to a holistic approach to exercise.
Pilates can be beneficial for:
Relaxation and breath
Strength and body conditioning
Stretching and release work
Remedial and recovering from injury
Pre-natal and post-natal women
Children with musculoskeletal issues
Referrals are welcome and encouraged if returning to movement after injury.
Requests for classes for pre-natal and post-natal women, teenagers, and children with musculoskeletal issues are welcome.

Mat Classes
Mat classes have a maximum of 3 people allowing for individual attention, often incorporating small equipment such as therapy bands, balls, and weights to enhance the exercises.

Pilates Equipment
The studio has a reformer, trapeze table and wunda chair, all very special and unique pieces of equipment designed by Joseph Pilates himself, that use springs for resistance gently challenging stability, muscle strength and alignment.

Private Sessions
Private sessions are available to all ages.
Private sessions are ideal for the remedial client allowing for discussion and assessment, exercise prescription and manual therapy where needed.
